An out-and-back course, 8 kms and about 900 steps each way, starting from Brighton Jetty at 6.00 a.m. (note time), and turning round at the cafe in Hallett Cove.
There are several toilets and drinking fountains along the course.
This is a social run, which has become an Australia Day tradition. No entry fees, all welcome.
In view of the weather forecast, expect to be finished and in the sea well before 8.00 a.m.
For afterwards, there are many cafes on Jetty Rd. David suggests Cafe Lune (formerly Prego) because it has big tables.
Your volunteer leader for this run is David Close.
This is a free “social run” – for more information on what to expect at a social run, click here.
