Date: Wed, 21 March 2018
Following on from the social night in February, TRSA we will be holding its next social evening on Wednesday 21th March from 6:15pm upstairs at the Astor Hotel, Pulteney Street.
To start the night, SAPOL will be taking attendees through their Traffic Marshalling training. Once finished each attendee will be trained to marshal traffic and will be supplied with a wallet sized card to show the certification. You’ll be able to use the certification whilst volunteering or use it as another thing that you can brag to your mates about knowing how to do!
Next up, and in readiness for Five Peaks and your other long distance trail running goals in 2018, we have lined up ioMerino to come in and chat to us about gear. ioMerino are one of our sponsors, a proud Australian company and make amazingly warm and comfortable merino wool clothes – from underwear to thermal layers to hoodies to gloves.
There will be breaks in between and finger food supplied between SAPOL and ioMerino. This time is great for socialising and sharing stories and goals for the year.
The cost for the night will be $10 per head payable on the door and this will cover finger food. Drinks will be able to be purchased on the night from the bar after the SAPOL training.
Please RSVP here so that we can sort out the catering for the evening.
