Getting nutrition ready for Five Peaks!
So, you’ve signed up for Five Peaks. Congratulations! You’re training hard, you’ve bought new trail gear, you’ve enlisted supporters…but what thought have you given to your nutrition? Good nutrition will support your performance and enjoyment on race day. Some of you may already know what race nutrition works for you. However, many runners are often unsure about their nutritional needs and practical strategies to meet them.
Come along to The Astor Hotel on Pulteney St on Wednesday March 6th if you would like help from a sports dietitian and past competitor in the Five Peaks Ultramarathon. This session is for all runners, from beginners to podium contenders and will be specific to the 5 Peaks event. We look forward to seeing you there!
This will be an interactive session and there will be plenty of time to ask questions and catch up with fellow runners.
Please arrive from 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start and RSVP below so we can get an idea of numbers for catering.
