PBrought to you by Form Physiotherapy, BKT-Trail, Masters Running Poles and Trail Running SA.
Running with sticks is a new idea to many. It is certainly possible to use them too much. Knowing when and how is important. On the uphills, sticks can give you extra propulsion from your arms. On the downhill, sticks can be sparingly used to help you keep balance. This is helpful for longer races or on steep and tricky terrain. The use of sticks is very personal, some runners find that they get in the way of their flow, while others find them very useful.
