After a bit of a hiatus, we’re returning to Cleland, a favourite with many of the club’s original members and new runners. Bring the family and enjoy the wildlife park after smashing out the hills and completing the course.
Welcome to the traditional lands of the Kaurna people.
Cleland National Park conserves an important area of bushland situated in the Adelaide Hills face zone.
A fantastic network of trails awaits you that will take you through native wildlife and cultural heritage zones, and provide spectacular views of the Adelaide Hills and surrounds.
It’s fair to say that it’s a bit hilly here – probably why they call it the Adelaide Hills. But you’ll be rewarded with native woodlands, forests, perched swamps, creeks, and maybe even a waterfall.
You can be guaranteed to run past many kangaroos – especially early in the morning, and you’ll probably spot koalas too.
After your race, we recommend you visit the Cleland Wildlife Park – the young and young at heart will enjoy it equally.
Bring your adventurous self along to this event, and don’t be put off by the hills – you can always walk them.
Cleland is less than a 30-minute drive from the city.
The long course event is a UTMB® Index race and ITRA National Challenge event.
The long course will attract 1 ITRA point. The shorter distances will collect 0 points.
