With beautiful tree lined avenues and the crowd-pleasing boardwalk, this course is sure not to disappoint. The forests offer fantastic ambience on trails that are generally easy to negotiate, especially near the boardwalk that forms part of the Heysen Trail on the eastern side. More challenging climbs are on the western side. Facilities and phone coverage are limited but the experience is fantastic.

Welcome to the traditional lands of the northern Peramangk people known as the Tarrawata.
Mount Crawford Forest is managed for sustainable wood production, while also providing for native flora and fauna conservation.
Land was first purchased for forestry at Mount Crawford in 1909, with commercial plantings beginning in 1914 and continuing to expand until the 1960s. Many of the original plantations have since been clear felled and replanted.
South Australia’s largest not-for-profit, community-based trail running organisation.
