Hold an AGM to whip through a few reports and elect a new committee!
It has been another big year for TRSA and we’re very keen to celebrate it with our community on Sunday 27 November 2022 at the Adelaide Harriers club rooms on the corner of South Terrace and Peacock Rd (https://goo.gl/maps/
EATING AND CATCHING UP
We invite you to join us from 11am and we encourage you to bring picnic chairs, rugs, drinks, games, and children as we’ve got plenty of space to spread out and relax.
Lunch will be served between 12-1:30pm. We have arranged Wood Oven Express to cater pizza and we’ll also be joined by our ever-faithful coffee supplier, John from The Coffee Run. TRSA will subsidise the cost of lunch for TRSA members down to $10. The cost for non-members is $25. Note: all TRSA members have been emailed a code to apply at checkout, which will reduce the cost to $10. As per all TRSA events, you will need to register each individual separately as the system we use doesn’t allow multiple ‘entries’ in one go. The RSVP link is above!
CELEBRATING THE 2022 TRSA YEAR
From 1:30pm we’re planning a celebration of the TRSA Series overall and age group winners and those who have completed the entire series. We’ll also be taking the opportunity to thank our wonderful volunteers and to share some highlights from the year.
INTRODUCING THE TRSA GEAR SALE
Inspired by Walking SA’s second-hand gear sale at their annual Hiking Expo, we’re planning to give something similar a crack at our end of season event. We encourage you to start collecting any trail running shoes, equipment, clothing, and other outdoor gear and clothing that trail running people would like, and bring it along on the day. You decide the price you’d like to sell it for, we’ll facilitate the payment logistics, and you can choose to either collect unsold stuff at the end of the day or we can donate it to charity on your behalf.
Please download and complete this FORM and bring it along on the day with your items. It includes tags for you to fill in and attach to each item you’d like to sell. We’ll have copies available on the day as well. TRSA will have tables, clothing racks and coat hangers available for use to display your items. We will oversee payment for the items either via card or cash and take a 5% commission to cover admin costs.
TRSA 2022 AGM
After short reports from the Chairperson and Treasurer as well as covering any other business on the agenda, we’ll proceed with an election for the 2023 committee. As you all know, volunteers are the life-blood of TRSA and this extends to the committee. TRSA events of any description and the general functioning of the Club throughout the year wouldn’t happen without an enthusiastic bunch (12) of committee members. We’re a ‘Jack of all trades, master of none’ style committee.
