LET’S RUN, EAT, CELEBRATE AND….
Hold an AGM to whip through a few reports and elect a new committee!
Although 2021 has been a big improvement on 2020 in terms of the TRSA running calendar, it still threw some curveballs at us, most notably the cancellation of Mt Misery 2021.
However, we’re very keen to celebrate the year that was with our community on Sunday 28 November at the Adelaide Harriers club rooms on the corner of South Terrace and Peacock Rd (https://goo.gl/maps/
EATING AND CATCHING UP
We invite you to join us from 11am and we encourage you to bring picnic chairs, rugs, drinks, games, and children as we’ve got plenty of space to spread out and relax. In addition to finding a shady spot under a tree, you’re welcome to bring a shelter.
Lunch will be served between 12-1:30pm. We have arranged Adelaide Woodfired Pizzas to cater all we can eat pizza and we’ll also be joined by our ever-faithful coffee supplier, John from The Coffee Run. Coffee can be purchased on the day but lunch is free for all TRSA members and subsidised down to $10 per person for non TRSA members. So we know how many people we’re catering for on the day, we have emailed all TRSA members a link to register with so you don’t have to pay anything.
Family and friends are very welcome. Please register them via this link and pay the $10 per person:
We will have a printed list on the day of those who have registered and/or paid for pizza and we’ll provide you with a wristband to confirm you’re eating.
CELEBRATING THE 2021 TRSA YEAR
From 1:30pm we’re planning a celebration of the TRSA Series overall and age group winners and those who have completed the entire series. We’ll also draw the male and female winners of the 2022 Season Pass for completing the Cleland Climb 6km Challenge. And last but not least, we’ll be taking the opportunity to thank our wonderful volunteers and to share some highlights from the year.
TRSA 2021 AGM
Subject to confirmation at the Special General Meeting on Monday 8 November 2021, we’re planning to hold the TRSA AGM immediately after the awards presentations. As noted in the email you received on 17 October 2021, the intent behind holding the AGM a little earlier than in previous years is to allow the newly elected committee plenty of time to prepare for the 2022 event year. All other reporting will be as per normal.
Nominations for the 2022 TRSA Committee closed on Saturday 13 November 2021 and you can find the list of nominations and information on proxy voting here.
We look forward to celebrating another fantastic year for Trail Running SA and our community.
